WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DOES BALDWIN AVIATION COLLECT?

   TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Baldwin Aviation utilizes third-party tracking applications to measure and analyze site traffic. These applications may collect information such as your computer’s operating system and browser type, IP address, address of a referring website, if any, etc. and may track a user’s path through our websites.

 

    PERSONAL INFORMATION

Except as set forth in this Policy, Baldwin Aviation will not through its websites collect, store or release any personal identifying information about you without your permission. If you visit the websites or if you affirmatively contact Baldwin Aviation and request information, you are consenting to Baldwin Aviation’s collection of information about you such as your name, title, company, email address, mailing address, phone numbers, requirements, etc.

HOW DOES BALDWIN AVIATION USE MY INFORMATION?

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Commercial Service, including monitoring the usage of our Service.

• To manage your Account: to manage your registration as a subscriber to the Commercial Service. The Personal Data you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the Commercial Service that are available to you as a registered user.

• For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services you have purchased or of any other contract with us through the Commercial Service.

• To contact you: To contact you by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.

• To provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information.

• To manage your requests: To attend to and manage your requests via the public and/or commercial websites.

• With Service Providers: We may share your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact you, or for payment processing.

DOES BALDWIN AVIATION SHARE MY INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES?

We may contract with third parties to assist us in collecting, maintaining and managing our websites’ visitor or user information, to fulfill subscriptions and other requests and/or to communicate with our website visitors or users. We do not authorize any of those third parties to make any other use of your information. Baldwin Aviation requires third parties to which it discloses personal information to restrict their use of such information to the purposes for which it has been provided by Baldwin Aviation and not to disclose that information to others. HOW DO I ACCESS AND UPDATE MY INFORMATION?

As a subscriber to Baldwin Aviation’s commercial website, you can contact Baldwin Aviation at support@Baldwinaviation.com to determine if we are keeping personal information about you. If we do have personal information about you, we will provide you with a readable copy of such personal information at no charge. Factual errors in your personal information, including information that is out of date, can be corrected by sending us a request that sufficiently details how your personal information should be corrected. We encourage you to promptly update your personal information change.  You can also log into your Baldwin User portal and update your own personal information.

 

HOW DO I REMOVE MY INFORMATION FROM EMAIL AND POSTAL MAILING LISTS?

If at any time you would like us to update your personal information or remove you from our email or postal mailing lists, feel free to contact us by calling 843-342-5434 or sending an email to info@BaldwinAviation.com. Please be sure to include your email address, and full name.

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. You may at any time opt-out of receiving communications from us. If you prefer not to receive information from us, either through email or regular mail, please let us know by sending an email to support@BaldwinAviation.com, responding directly to an email you have received, or by clicking an opt-out link. Please note that such requests may take up to 2-3 weeks to become effective. If you request that we not include you on our email or postal mailing lists, we will use reasonable efforts to ensure that we honor your request.

 

WHAT IS A “COOKIE” AND DOES BALDWIN AVIATION PLACE IT ON MY COMPUTER?

Our websites use cookies. A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. We use 2 kinds of cookies “persistent” cookies and “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date,  unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed. We use cookies to identify a user/subscriber once they are logged in so that we can keep the user successfully logged into the system to perform their job duties.  The system must know who a user is throughout their sessions for the creation of audit records and proper authorization of activities.  We also use cookies to store user preferences while the user is logged in to personalize their experience.

 

Cookies are also used in analytics applications, like Google Analytics, on our website to recognize a computer, allowing us to track a user throughout their use of the website, to analyze the use of the website and administer the website 

 

HOW DOES BALDWIN PROTECT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Personal information collected through the websites is secure and is maintained in a manner consistent with current industry standards. The importance of security for all personal information associated with our subscribers is of utmost concern to us. Your personal information is protected in several ways.

 

Your personal information resides on a secure server that only select Baldwin Aviation staff and select, and trusted contractors have access to via password.

 

We encrypt your personal information and thereby prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to us. In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment are handled by established third-party banking, processing agents and distribution institutions. They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to process and ship your order. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

 

As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the internet which are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through the websites cannot be guaranteed; and (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party.

 

COMMITMENT TO CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Baldwin Aviation takes children’s privacy seriously. We never collect or maintain information at our websites from persons we know to be under age 13, and no part of our websites are designed to attract anyone under age 13. Please do not communicate with or contact us if you are under age 13.
